I ordered 99002659 Impeller to fix a broken impeller that failed last week. Your number AP4113397. The part is slightly different than the old one. The collar at the bottom is too deap and the impeller will not sit all the way down, and the screw does not reach the six sided shaft. The new impeller hits the blade below the screen long before the impeller is low enough for the screw to reach the threads. Tried running without the screw but it did not pump water when the motor ran. I cut of the lower collar to match the old impeller. Everything now fits including the screw, but I'm still getting low water flow. Please get Jenn Aid or Whirlpool techs involved. There is an issue I cannot resolve with this part. About 8 months ago I had servcei folks here to repair issues related to broken glass damaging the screen and stopping the motor from turning. Expensive repair. They made comments about this model being different fro other similar models. Please help !!!! Wally B

ANSWER Hello Wally. There has been no issue of the impellers not installing properly, if they are aligned properly. If the water is not moving, you will need to check and make sure the water level is filling to the bottom of the heater. If not, you will need to order and replace the water valve 6-920534 on the unit. Make sure the float is good on the unit.
