ok I replaced the wash motor assembly with AP4364930 as suggested by you. I also replaced all of the spray arms and connector tubes. I replaced the impeller and assy. The only items that I did not replace are the dirt dish sensor and the plumb to drain the dishwasher. The upper rack is still not getting clean. When I replaced the motor with this motor, i noticed that the motor I took out was a 3500 RPM and that the one that I received from you was a 3000 RPM motor. Could that be the problem? do you have a 3500 RPM model?
ANSWER David, The 3500 rpm motor is no longer available, and has been replaced by the 3000 rpm motor. But that's not the issue, the reduction in rpm's would not affect the wash process as drastically as you indicate. If the dishwasher is not filling properly, or if the detergent or rinse agent is "foaming" during the cycle, you will loose the pressure from the pump system and the top rack dishes will appear to not clean properly. Here's a quick easy check, start the dishwasher in any wash cycle, allow the unit to fill and wash for 3 to 5 minutes, unlatch the door, wait a few seconds, remove the lower rack. The water level in the bottom of the tub should cover the lower half of the heater element(at least) and the water temperature should be 120 dgrs.F. Allow the dishwasher to run a few more minutes and check for suds, a white "film" on top of the water. Let us know what you find, uncover and we can go from there. Thanks
