recently our washer stopped with 3 mins in the wash cycle. We canceled the cycle, removed the items, which were to wet to put in the dryer and put them in individually and ran them through a rinse and spin cycle, which worked,we also have noticed a small with a small amount of water, in the drum occasionally, after a wash cycle.Something we also use the rinse and spin cycle for.It also has produced a ticking noise during this cycle.Does this sound like the drain pump?

ANSWER Scott, Yes, you'd want to start by checking the drain pump 280187 hoses and filter. Once you remove power to the washer, and the lower access panel on the front of the washer(two screws) you'll have access to everything you need to check and clean.
