Three weeks ago the washer was not spinning the water out of the clothes. I ordered and replaced the clutch. It worked one week with no problem. Now it makes a machine gun sound on the spin cycle. Even after I replaced the drive block. Can you help me?
ANSWER Robert, A couple of things to recheck for. The motor drive coupler 285753A, check the tabs on each coupler, are any of them bent, broken, or cracked. Check the basket drive and drive block, are the tabs at the top of the tube, where the drive block mounts, rounded off or distorted, and is the spanner nut 21366 tight enough to properly secure the drive block and basket to the drive tube. Lastly, check the Clutch Engagement Cam on the basket drive, make sure its not worn or distorted, and properly secured to the drive tube.
