The washer is basically working fine, but... on occasion... makes a clicking noise when in wash cycle (agitator looks like it's slipping a bit, but still turning) and also in the spin cycle (drum is spinning, but not as smoothly and quickly as it should be). Also, my fluorescent lights in the room flicker in unison with the clicking. At the completion of an entire wash cycle, there is a light electrical smell, almost as if something electrical was getting a little hot. Any idea what the offending part(s) may be? Thanks!
This issue sound like it would be caused by a faulty centrifugal switch inside the motor and the motor would need to be replaced.
