My washing machine drum is not spinning. I just replaced the drive block (AP2905773) and the clutch does not appear to be broken, and the motor coupling is in good shape. The motor hums and sounds like it is spinning however the Drum isn't. I did notice that the spanner nut was not on very tight, could that be my problem? Wondering what else it could be? Thanks

ANSWER Hello Chris. If the motor just hums during spin, and the motor turns freely by hand, you will need to replace the timer 3952518 in the unit. Hope this helps.
