If the drive block and the tabs on the shaft are worn will the unit still work?

ANSWER Hello Michael,
Unfortunately, the machine will not work properly as the tub can turn independently of the shaft that drives it. The unit will not agitate or spin properly. If the tabs are worn off of the basketdrive tube 285792, it must be replaced and if the knotches are worn away in the drive block 389140, it also must be replaced. I can send you a service manual if you have a valid e-mail address for me to send it to. The one listed was "permanently undeliverable". Thanks!
