How can you tell if the transmission is bad. My washer will not spin out at all. It fills, washes, drains the water but will not spin just hums and the timer will advance to the rest of the cycle but will not spin out the load. Had lid switch checked, it is fine. Replaced the coupling , clutch , and water pump and all the hoses on the washer ,also put in a new transmission in Jan. of this year and all was great , now I'm at the no spin and a hum. what else can I check or change to get it back to working properly??
This issue will boil down to one of 2 things. First you will want to pull the tub and make sure that there is nothing caught in between the tubs that would cause the unit to not spin. If this checks ok then the you would have a faulty timer.
