I have a Kitchenaid side-by-side refrigerator and I would like to know. Does the spout of the water filter have a filter cap? or is it just the tail end that does? Also, if there is a cap for the spout, what's the model number?

ANSWER Hello Sam. The only cap on the water filter goes on the back of the water filter. The new filters are shipped with a cover over the ends of the filters that pulls off before install. Hope this helps.
