i need to remove the filter housing to access a cracked drain pan. how do i remove the water lines from the back of the housing? do they screw out?

ANSWER Jeff, The fittings on the filter housing are "john guess" compression fittings. To remove the tubes, press down / in on the gray ring that surrounds the tube, and pull the tube out. To install the tube, Press down/in on the ring, insert the tube as far in as possible, release the ring, and tug out on the tube lightly, to insure the tube is sealed and locked in place.
