Trying to find out how to replace the water filter housing. Is it done from the rear of the refrigerator? the panel on the front does not allow the old one to come out.
ANSWER Pete, Once you remove the filter, filter cap, and kick plate grille from the bottom front of the refrigerator, remove the two screws that attach the filter housing to the refrigerator frame. Slide the filter housing out the front of the unit enough to detach the water tubes, and allow wate water is left in the filter or tubes to drain into a small bucket.
