Replaced water inlet valve. Jumped T & H. Unit cycles but no water fill. There are 2white wires on one connection and one tan. Tried flipping the connection plug both ways on to the inlet valve. Unit cycles and still no water to unit. Water is on and flows to the valve. Solenoid does not operate. Help.
ANSWER Hello Bud. You will need to test and see if the icemaker is sending power to the water valve. If not, you will need to replace the icemaker 4317943 in the unit. If there is power, but no water, and the water is turn on and is working, you will need to replace the water valve 2315576 in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
