During a wash cycle the washer stopped working with a full tub of water. Moving the dial to different settings it would occasionally turn on in the rinse cycle but not in wash or spin. It would not pump the water from the tub. Now nothing happens except in the rinse cycle I here buzzing from the water valve solenoids. Is it possible that a faulty water valve solenoid can shut the washer down?
ANSWER Hello Tim. Yes, if it is not letting in the water, it will shut down the washer.
