I'm trying to figure out what part I need to replace on my PSD2350DRW. When I allow my ice maker to work and produce ice, I often get a puddle in the floor. Inside my freezer I have ice building up on the freezer floor. I believe the water is coming from the back of the freezer, but there is no evidence of any ice buildup where the water enters the ice maker. There is no water leaking from behind the fridge either. Is it possible that the conduit, gasket, etc. leading into the back of my freezer has a leak? But if this was the case, why does the water and ice build up stop once I flip the sensor bar up to halt ice production? Thanks for your help.
ANSWER Hello Chad, Check the drain on your refrigerator and make sure it's not clogged. It is located inside the freezer, behind the freezer wall, and below the evaporator coils. If it is stopped up, this will cause your problem. Hope this helps.
