My ice maker is dispensing hollow shells of ice instead of solid hard frozen cubes. I saw a video that suggested the water valve may be defective, however my unit has two water valves. Which one do I need to change or do I have to change both? Why are there two? At nearly $60 each I hate to change a part I don't need to.
Thank you so much!
ANSWER Hello David. The freezer section of the unit is to cold. You need to get the temperature to 0°. If you do that and still have the issue, replace the icemaker in the unit.
