Our dishwasher will not fill up enough, the inlet strainer is clean, it puts 1-gallon & 3-quarts @145-seconds. How close is the water supposed to be to the bottom of the float when the water valve shuts off. I can add water to the sump and the circulation motor will pump water to the spray heads, otherwise it will not. Everything is clean, the strainers all tubes, pump is clear. Can the fill valve be partially opening?
ANSWER Hello Larry. The water should be next to the bottom of the heater. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the water valve 8531669 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
