Starting tonight the dishwasher will not drain. Murky water in the bottom. It is 10 years old and has always run flawlessly. My wife pointed out the water in the bottom of the washer. I hit the Cancel/Drain button and a "02" showed up on the display. The water didn't drain but I hear a faint humming. Do I need a valve or something? I doubt the drain hose is clogged as it is used once per week, sometimes twice.
What do I check 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
ANSWER Hello Rick. The first thing you will need to check is the drain hose on the unit and see if it is clogged. Then check in the sump assembly and make sure it is clear as well. If all is clear in the unit, you will need to order and replace the drain pump 661658 on the unit.
