I've found much good advice here on exactly what the problem may be, but I still need to try checking the plastic tube that runs from the water inlet valve to the icemaker through the back of the refrigerator to see if it's clogged.
Trouble is, I'm not sure how to remove it from the refrigerator end.
It doesn't appear to be the type that pulls out easily from the back of the refrigerator (upper right) with a pliers as it does from the water inlet valve. (I replaced the inlet valve pretty easily, although it turned out that wasn't the problem).
So, how does one remove it?
ANSWER Hello Peter. Remove the water line from the water valve and blow through the water line. If you can, the fill tube is clear. If not, then you need to thaw out the fill tube.
