I changed the water filter on my Whirlpool side by side. When I went to run water from the dispenser, it would not shut off for about 30 seconds. Testing it some more, even if I run it for a few seconds and release, it runs for several more seconds.
It did not do this before I changed the filter. It seems an odd coincidence.
ANSWER Hello Steve. You will need to run about 2 gallons of water through the dispenser to remove the air and then the water will stop like it should.
