I purchased the water tube kit #4388152. I got the faceplate removed but am unable to see how to replace the entire tubing and fitting. I followed the link you gave in a similar question, all it did was to show how to remove the face plate. Is it possible to replace this tubing myself???
ANSWER Tom, Yes, you could replace the water tube yourself. Be ready for quite a bit of frustration, In you case, you have the incorrect part, all you need is the plastic tube2196117 or use the water tube from the kit you purchased. Once you have the dispenser dismantled and the water tube is free from the mounting, you'll need to attach a long, strong string to the end of the tube in the dispenser. Grasp and pull out on the water tube at the bottom, hinge area of the door(turning and twisting the tube helps) once you've got the tube extracted, tape off or cap the end of the new water tube, attach the string to the water tube and pull the string back through the door lining and out the opening in the dispenser body. Good Luck and Thanks
