The little plastic nozzle which dispenses water has disintegrated. I think I need to purchase and install part no. AP3108776. How do I remove the faceplate to access the ice/water dispenser compartment without destroying it? I've looked for screws-none; I've tried sliding a thin putty-knife under the bottom edge but can't find clips, etc. I don't think a replacement faceplate is available if I should break it. Help?

ANSWER Hello Barneybar. Remove the grill from the bottom and get a hold of the bottom of the front cover. While applying downward pressure, pull the cover out away from the freezer door. It seems as though you are going to break it but since it snaps onto plastic clips, it snaps off. When you reinstall it, you hook it on the top first, then bump it on with the back of your fist.
