The timer on my Maytag doesn't seem to stop...ever. It just keeps making its way around the dial, from one cycle to the next. How do I test the timer to know if it needs replacing? And if not this, then what?
I've already replaced the wax motor, and have checked the control board for signs of burn marks...& it all looks good.
Can U please help me?
ANSWER Hello Keith. If the timer is not stopping and constantly turns, you will need to replace the timer in the unit.
