Hello ...... I have a problem with my washer spinning. I recently bought a lid switch from Appliance Parts Pro's.com because my washing machine would not drain water or spin. Today i installed the Lid Switch and did a small load of cloths with the machine working fine, no problems!! I did a second load which were large bath towels and when i opened the lid to throw them in the dryer they were as wet as can be!! I ran through the cycles and of course i have no spin cycle to but can hear it running as if it were spinning with the lid closed. ( 1 ) Replaced Lid Switch cause would not spin or drain water..... after replacing works fine . .. ( 2 ) 2 loads of cloths washed , one light the 2nd load towels ( heavy ) now stopped spinning. Looking it up on your page and an other company for reasons it won't spin were 13 different causes for it to fail. I'm leaning on the motor coupling may have failed but I have not checked it out yet. What information can you give me!! I THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!!!!
ANSWER Hello Bill. Check the motor coupling, and the drive block, and the clutch. Any of the 3 can cause the issue you are having.
