I have a Kenmore washing machine- model number 80 series 23822100 type 111. Bought Nov.11, 2002. During agitating and spinning it is making a whining sound. It spins and drains. Can you tell me what could be causing this and how does one remove the agitator. There isn't a slot on the screw looking medal head which I can see in the center,about an inch from the top of the start of the agitator, down in the inside. Does this model have a drive belt. THANKS!

ANSWER Hello. Check the pump and see if there is anything in it. 3363394 This machine does not have a belt, it uses a motor coupling. Hope this helps.
