I had trouble wiith the spin cycle so I changed the motor coupler. It is still making a grinding noise like it needs grease somewhere that does it thru all functions of the cycle. Im thinking maybe the tub suspension pads but there was quite a bit of rust built up on the front motor shaft where the pump is but I don't see the pump dripping any water in fact it's not even wet. Can I grease that front shaft of the motor?
ANSWER Hello Jewels. It sounds like the transmission is bad in the unit. Also, it sounds like you need to replace the pump in the unit. It could cause the noise if it is bad.
