My washer just started leaking from the bottom this weekend. We ran a cycle and lifted the machine and saw water coming directly out of the pump part #AP2907492, but my question is, How do I know that this is the part that needs to be replaced verses the hoses? If I see the water coming directly from this part can I be confident in the assumption that this is the part to replace then?
ANSWER Hello Shea. If you see water coming from the pump, then that is the part you will need. If it were a hose, the water would come from there. Hope this helps.
