will not drain nor spin. Washer stoped at rinse/spin cycle
Not sure if the agitator turns. Tub full. When I reset the unit to spin I hear the motor humming for 10 seconds then stops. Is Lid switch OK? No smells and other noise.
How do I check for a locked up motor, pump ( is something stuck in the pump?)or defective lid switch. Aslo can it be the clutch assemble.?
Washer worked yesterday, then it just stopped. The only thing that changes was a 17 yr old who overloads the washer untill we told her not to.
ANSWER Hello Brian. Lid switch sounds fine. Try turning the pump and motor and see if it is clogged and locked up.
