My whirlpool dryer drum will not turn. The heating element still works, but there is no sound when I push the button. Help.. I took off the back but did not see anything for the drum. I have not used this dryer that much.

ANSWER Hello Sharon. You need to check and see if the belt is broken on the unit. Also, if the belt is good, see if there is air coming out he back. If not, you may have a bad motor and the motor needs to be replaced.
