I think I have to replace the heating element and when I took it apart I noticed one of the wires that connects the thermostat to the heating element is burnt or frayed at the thermostat end and I believe it needs to be replaced. It is the connection that has two wires that connects to one into the thermostat. The color of one wire is orange and the other is a red and white mix color. Can I order that wire?
ANSWER Hello John. Not without ordering the wiring harness. You can order a new end TJMA02881-1 and crimp it onto the wire. Make sure you cut out any of the burnt section of the wire.
