I just received the heating element I ordered and replaced it. The video for replacing it was great and everything went smooth. my question is when I turned dryer on it smelled hot. I assume it is because it's new (like when you purchase a new heater). Am I correct?
ANSWER Hello Tina! Yes, when you first install a new heating element the dryer can put off an odor for a short period of time after starting it. Thanks.
