I ordered a new Heating Element # WPL 279838. Using the Video I replaced it without a question. I still had no heat. I ordered the fuse - WPL 3392519 AND the Thermostat WPL 39777767. Using the repair video they went in without a hitch. I still have no heat. I cleaned the dryer vent area as well as I could with my hand and the wall vent as well. I replaced the silver accodian hose as well. I still have no heat. On the element repair video there were two red wires and a brown/rust colored one. I only had two red wires. I connected one to the heating element and the other to the thermostat. Is this an issue? What are other reasons the dryer is not working?
ANSWER Hello Tom. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Make sure the heater and the thermostat are connected together and then 1 red wire is on heater and the other is on the thermostat.
