My icemaker is making all the right sounds, but no water is going into it. It sounds like it is filling, but it isn't. Do I need a new valve?
ANSWER Hello Annie. You will need to check and make sure the fill tube is not frozen up. If it is, you will need to clear it out and replace the water valve. If it is clear, you will need to remove the line from the valve and cycle the icemaker and see if water comes out of the valve. If it does not, then you will need to replace the valve, if there is power going to it. Hope this helps.
