My Thermador wall oven C271US displays cal and everything freezes. If I reset the breaker for 10-15 min it comes back. Tonight the inside light was clicking and flashing. The display would go blank shut off and come back.
Is this a control board issue?
Answer Hello B.D.D.,
While this sounds like a bad board, you should first verify the units' power supply is not making and breaking. This would be caused by a poor electrical connection between the unit and the breaker box. It could be in the junction box, a bad wire, or a bad breaker. If this checks out good, the clock assembly, (display), will need to be replaced.
All controls work but oven won't heat. Replaced the relay control board - did not fix the problem. Any ideas on what to try next? Many thanks, Paul
With the display working and a new relay board already installed, you will want to check the power to the unit to make sure that there is 240 vac at the power supply. If there is not 240 vac then you will need to correct power supply issue. If there is 240 vac then you will want to start testing power and checking the wires between the power supply and the relay board.
