The temperature light is very dim, barely readable. The repairman says I need a new control board. All the other lights are working. Do I have to replace the whole control board just to fix the temp light? The timer light is bright and so is everything else, just the oven temp light is really dim.

My Thermador upper oven does not hold the correct temperature. The display will read 350° but the oven is only at 250° and now when I press for the lower oven on the display, that switch is dead I cannot select the lower oven on the display to turn it on. The lower oven was maintaining the correct temperature before the oven selector pad stopped allowing the lower oven selection? I tried turning the oven off at the breaker to try to reset the computer but it did not help.

Answer Hello Jackie, This sounds like you have lost one leg of you 240Vac power supply. This will be either at the breaker, in the junction box where the unit is hardwired to the home wiring, or on the control board. Since you didn't specify which of the two model number you listed is the model of your unit, we cannot list an accurate part number. The model number you should list is on the units' I.D. tag. The issue with the lower oven sounds like the touch panel may be faulty also.

While moving the ribbon connector which connects the display with the touch pad broke. The parts is Bosch 415191. Can you help? The oven is completely dead. Nobody seems to have it. Can it be repaired? Three areas of the flexible circuitry are discontinued.

Answer Hello Mair. Test and see if there is power coming to the control board power/relay 486909. If so, and nothing is working, you will need to order and replace the board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. My thermador doulbe oven C302U is experiencing intermittent beeping with an F24 code. From the posts I guess my problem is the control board. My control board has a 16-10-994 number but your site does not list that as one of the correct numbers for your recommended replacement control panel. Can you please confirm the correct model? In addition I am noticing scorch marks (one left and one right) above the gasket on both the door and frame, is that normal? It is on both the top and bottom ovens. Thank you.

Answer Allen, manufacturer control board part number 16-10-994 is our part number 144001 which shows to be the correct control board assembly used on your double oven model C302U. The scorch marks above the gaskets on the door are normal. Over the years some units tend to get a brownish color, this is from the heat escaping the unit. I would inspect the gaskets to make sure they are not worn out. If they are they will need to be replaced. Thanks!

Answer Hello Donna, Since I have no model number to look up a diagram with, I'll just go from memory. I don't believe there is a high temperature thermostat or a thermal cut-out on these. What you need to do first is go to the breaker box and turn the breaker off then back on, in case one side of the breaker is tripped. If this doesn't do it, you can check the junction box for burned wire nuts or open the control board and test for 240Vac. There should be 240Vac to the relay board that is inside the unit. If there is, the relay board is the component requiring replacement. If there isn't, you need to send me the model number so I can research and pull a diagram to help you troubleshoot.
