My dishwasher seems to running fine until it gets to 1 minute left. It continues to run and when I open the door, water is coming out of the arms and the bottom is full of water. The soap door is open and water is not leaking out so it must be draining out or it's recycling the water. When I push the scrub/delicate buttons, it drains and resets to CL. However, when I run it again, it does the same thing and won't stop after 1 minute.

Answer Carolyn, You will want to check all your wiring from the control board down to make sure that there are no broke, corroded or damaged wiring. If the wiring checks ok then the most likely cause of failure would be the control module 266746.

It looks like your part has a different wire connection than my original part but I belive your part is the one I need. Is that what you mean by needing a jumper?

Answer Hello Rod, When you remove the old board, as a general rule, if it has a jumper, it will be necessary for the new board to operate properly. If the old board doesn't have a jumper, it is usually not needed for the model in question. I was able to find a note in a parts listing that shows that "SHU53 needs coding plug (jumper) 167782 sold separately". You should read the instruction sheet for the part closely to determine if your model specifically needs it or not.

I replaced a control module w/2H error code with a new module and connected the jumper plug as it was on the old board. The new module showed a 2H error code again on the second cycle. Is the jumper plug used on the new module? Is there potentially something else wrong?

Answer Karl, The 2H error code is an indication that the last wash cycle was too long, greater than 99 minutes. This could be that the water is coming into unit is too cold or the heater system has a fault. Possibly a bad heater, Hi-limit, flow switch, NTC, or control module heater relay. Since the control unit was just replaced you will want to test the other parts of the heating system. Also check for broken wires that come through door that go to the heater circuit.

I have had this machine for about 12 yrs, after the original warrantee expired the machine stopped cycling. Repairman came and changed the control module and said it was a common problem. A few years later I had the same problem so I ordered the module thru your company and the problem was solved. Last week the machine would go on (pump water out) but would not fill with water and would not shut down, so I ordered another module thru you and after I installed it it appeared to work ( pump out, refilled, the soap door opened but went no further. Also when I hit the two buttons to reset to CL the machine would not shut off. You are resending another module because I think the new one might be defective.

Answer Hello Joe. If you have issues with the new module, you will need to check for power to the water valve. If it is there, and no fill, replace the valve on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. I need to replace the control module for a Bosch dishwasher part number 266746. Model number SHU5305UC/6. You list part number 266746 as a replacement but when I used your compatibility checker, it said this part will not work on my model dishwasher. Seems to be conflicting info. In other words your model was listed as SHU5305 UC/06 (FD 7705-7912) with spaces and a range of serial numbers so you likely didn't see it.
