When I turn on small oven, the green light is on for about 1 minutes then off. The green light on the main oven is immediately on and the flashing for a few seconds the off. There is no flame but smell of gas. Can you tell me what was wrong and how to fix it? Thanks

Thermador cooktop- The two "extra low" burners will not ignite. Other three burners are fine. Repairman says I need a "simmer kit". Is that a Control Unit OEM? Correct part number? Thank you for your help.

The oven, and broiler no longer heat up, there is a faint smell of gas, when the oven is on. The XLO burners will light, but turn off after a few minutes and will not relight. Any help regarding replacement parts would be greatly appreciated.

Latest Questions

I've changed the potentiometers and still get a spark, but no gas to both the central and low burners. Now I've ordered the simmer control unit. How do I test the solenoid if necessary and are there any other parts to test?

I replaced the second control unit today to hopefully alleviate all burners trying to ignite once power is restored to cooktop. After I installed this secound unit and turned on breaker, 12 seconds, and all burners would start to ignite. If I lit either of the left two burners the ignition process would stop. Once turned off all would start sparking again. I have replaced a potentiometer as well. I tested both solenoids. They tested perfect 1760 ohms. Checked the outlet for ground, checked cooktop ground. Any thoughts?

Have a problem with two left burners with no spark or gas from their respective knobs. They will spark from the other knobs. It was suggested I replace the control unit (422882) and a potentiometer (422748) which I purchased (order no. 3107238) When I flipped on the circuit breaker and turned on any knob all six burners start sparking and will not stop until the breaker is turned off. This is a new development. And I'm not so sure we solved the original problem. Danny is sending me another control unit as a warranty but he suggested I post a message here as well. Client is selling their home and I'm kinda running out of time. Thanks very much in advance, Bill
