I can't get the oven light to turn off even after cutting the power. It appears to be something with the door liner since it will blink off for a second when the door is first closed. Does this make any sense?

Answer Hello Brian. It sounds like the door switch is bad on the unit and will need to be replaced on the unit. Check and make sure none of the light wires are shorted to ground causing the issue.

Answer Hello Brian. To remove the door seal, you will pull the clips out of the holes in the oven door. Then, start at the bottom of the door and insert the clips on the new door seal 470692 into the holes in the oven door and install the new gasket. Hope this helps.

Will the Bosch oven seal AP3196449 work on a Montgomery Ward Tappan lower oven door? The stove is a double oven free standing stove purchased in 1985. It looks to be the right size. Does it come with clips?
