I have just put a water inlet valve on and still not getting water into the dishwasher. Would the float switch prevent a water fill?
Answer Hello Larry,
The float switch can cause this but you should verify water pressure to the unit and voltage to the valve since it cannot allow water to enter if the valve is not energized. If not voltage is present during the fill part of the cycle, you will need to verify the door switches are closing and voltage is being passed through them. If no voltage is getting there, you could have a bad control module 00676960.
Water continually flows into the dishwasher even when off.
Dishwasher fills up with water and leaks out the door when off.
Answer Hello Robert. Based on the information you provided, you will need to order and replace the water valve on the unit.
