Changing the cooktop to LP and the griddle flame is still to high. Is it possible to be shown where you make the griddle hood adjustment?
Answer Hello Dove,
The griddle burner hooks onto the "hood" which is one adjustment. For LP gas, it well be turned clockwise until tight, (be sure to only bottom this adjustment since over-tightening it will destroy it). This will only be between 1 1/2 to 2 turns. The only other adjustment on the griddle is under the knob. When the knob is removed and you look down the hollow shaft, you will see the adjustment screw, (very small flat blade screwdriver). This adjustment is a very small adjustment used to adjust the low flame setting high enough to prevent the flame from going out if a door or window is opened or shut during operation.
I need to have the lp conversion for the griddle. It appears it is adjustable and I was needing to know how to adjust it? Could you please send me the insturctions or the parts information?
Answer Hi Adam. You need to adjust the Griddle hood down 1-1/2" to 2-turns down tight against the orifice. Then adjust the shutter so there is very little yellow tip and no flame lift off. Thank You.
