Most Interesting

Thermador gas range GCV36GS with 4 burners. When turning on the left rear burner, a continuous clicking occurs as the igniter attempts to light the front burner. On the right side of the range top, I have to manually light the front burner, and once lit, the igniter continues to click non-stop. (The left side rear burner lights properly with no continuous clicking.)

I added this to a previous post but since I can't find it, I will ask. I have a Thermador gas range PRG366eg and the oven won’t light, gas comes on, but no spark on the igniter. I took it out and it looks fine, clean and no corrosion. I tested it for resistance and it has 0 ohms. I think that it should have some resistance, so I assume it is bad and needs replaced. Does this seem right? While checking the oven I tested the broiler and now have a question on the broiler. When I light it, it looks like the ignitor coils do not shut off even after reaching broil temp, 600 degrees. They still glow orange. Shouldn’t they shut off? Do I have a different problem?
