Hi, With customer services' help we have determined that I need to order 2 bolts that go directly in front on the lower part of the dishwasher. I assume that's what the part number above refers to. I wonder if this would be the reason my dishwasher tips forward when the drawers are pulled out. It didn't do this originally, so I don't know if the bolts just worked loose, were never there, or what.
Thanks!

Answer Hello Carol,
The mounting brackets are the "L" shaped pieces made of sheet metal. I would recommend you order a Bosch installation pack 422815, and use the mounting brackets on the sides of the unit as the holes in your countertop are probably stripped out. Sometimes you can put match sticks or toothpicks in the holes before re-inserting the screws to get the screws to hold, but the countertop, if made of particle board, will just allow the screws to let go again. If you use the mounting brackets on the sides of the unit, the screws which mount the unit to the cabinets will go into fresh holes.
The screws that you were looking at are the screws for the kick panel. I don't think these will help your situation unless the kick panel is falling off.If the unit is tipping forward out of the cabinet, the mounting kit is the way to go as the mounting brackets secure the unit to the cabinet.
One note: If the side screws are going into pieces of wood that are very narrow, you need to pre-drill the holes to avoid splitting the cabinet wood and making the cabinet look bad in appearance. Let us know if we can assist you any further.
