My oven won't heat up. The range and broiler work. When I turn on the oven, the indicator light lights up, I hear the fan turn on, and I smell gas. The oven does not heat up. I took off the inside bottom plate and fire spreader. When I turn the oven on, I do not see any sparks or the elements glow hot, but again, I do smell gas. My oven is a Thermador Professional, purchased around 2006, model # PRG366EG/06 and serial # 880150000 or serial # 39801008503 500001. Can you assist on what may be the issue and part numbers that need to be replaced? Than you in advance for your help.

Hello, I have a PRG304 that sputters intermediately when the oven is on. The ignition glows bright yellow. I checked the safety valve: 1.1 ohms, No continuity to the valve body, 118 to 121 vac across the valve leads. i am thinking it is the valve?? Thanks for any help.

On my oven the gas sputters like other ovens I've read about, hovwever the broiler and the cooktop burners do not vary like the oven. Also, I have a rear simmer burner that does not work. I have checked the card controller on the front of the knob and that does not make a difference all. It does spark but no gas. Thanks Scott.

Hi, This is Dennis again. I have already replaced the gas valve (duel oven safety valve 415497) about 8 months ago and the oven still does not get up to temp. You suggested replacing the pressure regulator. Are you talking about the main gas line pressure regulator or is there another one. If the main pressure regulator is bad wouldn't it affect the burners also? Can I test the pressure regulator? I will probably replace the igniter antway. Last time I turned the oven on it didn't light and the kitchen filled up with gas. Not a good thing. We were very lucky. I'm a full time paid professional Captain with the Kearny, NJ fire department and it wouldn't have looked good if my house blew up! I tried to light the oven again and the igniter was weak and I smelt gas but the gas didn't ignite so I turned the oven off. I think the igniter is bad and not getting hot enough to ignite the gas but still sending a signal to the gas valve to open. Could this be possible? Thanks again for your help, Dennis If you can call me it would be helpful.
