Our oven light has burned out. We cannot seem to unscrew the cover over the light. How can we loosen up the cover? Do we use oven cleaner to loosen the threads? Thank you.

I always use a rubber bottle opener to get the globe off. Do not use anything that could shatter the glass as you could be seriously hurt!
Is the glass lens cover screw-on?
