When I got set my temperature on the oven, when i turn the knob to the desired temperature and let go of the knob, the temperature display turns to "---". Is this the part that would fix my issue?

The ovens work fine. The temperature display for the top oven is not lit so hard to tell what temp you have it on.

one of our controls switches broke because it was plastic. If we could turn it, it works fine, just the plastic broke. I tried to epoxy the plastic back together, but not strong enough to hold. How would I know if this part will work in our very old CT230S, back from 1997? Do you have install steps/manual somewhere? Also, do you have a light knob, I think part 00415599? Thank you!

Latest Questions

There must be more to know -- 00412912 does not fit this particular Themador CT130, the switch we are replacing has no circuit board attached, the circuitry is built into the panel. If circuit board were to be removed the tabs are similar to the old switch but do not fit the spacing. Original switch has no protruding shaft -- it is linked to the knob shaft by plastic parts. Are there various models of this thing or some interchange direction? Perhaps I should be removing some other part? Two servicemen have been onsite and confirmed mis-application, offered no alternative.
