My d/w will not drain. We've experienced troubles in the past and are truly disappointed with this dishwasher. When it will not drain during cycle it floods my kitchen. With this being said, I realize that I need a door seal and in the past we have had a repair man from sears, look at it as well and he too hasn't a clue to what is the major malfunction. The drain lines aren't plugged is all we can say. When turning the actuator, or the impeller, the first turn was extremely tight. Help?

Bosch DW SHU33A06UC/22 washes ok but after wash cycle I get an intermittent loud odd noise - my guess is during a sump pump cycle, sounds like an impeller not completely seated / slipping / wore out. Unit seems to drain ok, noise lasts 5 seconds or so then goes away - maybe binding due to a bearing. Happens a couple time during the end of the washing cycle - in Normal wash. I have not tried to trouble shoot via a schematic, curious how many moving parts operate during the sump cycle. Is it one pump that does it all?

Hello, My dishwasher will not drain. Can you please provide me a basic troubleshooting outline? I have done some research and it appears I need to first check for a clog. I am guessing to do this, I'll disconnect the hose from the disposer and try to back flush water into the dishwasher? If I need to replace the drain pump, would you kindly specify the needed parts? Can those be replaced from inside the unit or will it need to be pulled out? I have ignored this project since March and there is still a small amount of standing water. I read where someone used CLR to decalcify the pump workings. Is that recommended. Much of the unit's workings are covered with white buildup. Thanks so much for your advice.

My Bosh shu43c05uc/17 will not pump the water out. when it reaches the pump cycle it makes a constant hum and I have to turn it off. It sounds like the pump is stuck. I have disconnected the discharge line to the garbage disposal and the line is clear at disposal. I have not checked the entire line.Do I need a discharge pump? If so, what is the pump model #? WE are continually getting dirty water draining back into the bottom of the dishwasher. I have thoroughly cleaned the basket filter/strainer. It did have some hard water build up but nothing that I would consider enough to have caused the problem. Your thoughts? Thanks M.B. (fellow Bosch employee)

My Bosch dishwasher isn't draining completely. What's going wrong? After we wash dishes I run the rinse and drain cycle and that gets more of the water out of the bottom of the dishwasher but there's still some left under the metal screen. What part might I have to replace?
