I have an issue with my whirlpool dishwasher. The dishwasher will not complete a cycle. It will stop and the clean light will flash 7 times. I have checked the heating element(10 ohms), and the over temp switch(closed). The component I have a question about is the Thermistor. With a meter connected to it, I hold it over my stove top element and watch it as it is heating up. It starts at about 50 ohms then starts to drop as it gets hotter. It will go open for a nano second at around 40 ohms, then continue to drop. It will do the same on the way back up when it is cooling in the freezer, open at around 40 ohms. I don't believe this is normal, but Im not sure if this is something built in to this particular sensor. Any advise?

The unit runs, heat but stop as soon it gets hot, after about 30 minutes, then it cools down until a restart for another stopping few minutes later. Main switch... check Board connectors... check Could have been the motor thermal protection... Change the motor... done, it doesn't change the problem. Could have been the Thermistor Hi-limit Change the 85oC Thermistor... done it doesn't change the problem. What could it be then ? Change the dishwasher... not done yet. Any suggesting somebody?

All cycle times are longer (Power scrub wash 158, regular wash 146, quick wash 52, rinse 9). Water heater does not appear to be heat water. Diagnostic Procedures (press and hold regular wash / rinse buttons, then press power switch) cycle count down states PO, quick wash light is on solid, rinse light blinks. If continue to press buttons, additional lights come on and off. How can I determine if i need a thermistor, heater or control module?

I have a "2H" error code. I have replaced the control module and the heater assembly. Stiil have the error code. Starts, then sits silent with 2H for 1-2 hours, starts running from the high 90's and stalls out again in the 50 minute range, sits for another couple of hours, then finishes. Please advise

So, I ran a test! They said to press the Power Scrub Plus at the same time as the regular wash cycle, press the on switch and then the two lights would flash. From there, press each individual cycle and if the clean button illuminated, then you could correctly assume that it was the temperature sensor? So now my question? Is a thermistor the same thing as a temperature sensor and does part (AP 2802365) fit my model SHU9915UC/U11? This particular BOSCH dishwasher is 12 years old so I do not want to have a hefty service bill if this is something my husband could repair himself? But, I want to make sure that I order the correct part and I need to know if I performed the diagnostic in the correct manner? HELP?

My Bosch SHU9905 dishwasher is stuck in the wash cycle and will not enter the rinse or drain mode. The only way to stop it is to turn off the power switch. The heater and circulation pump appear to be working properly.
