I have a "2H" error code. I have replaced the control module and the heater assembly. Stiil have the error code. Starts, then sits silent with 2H for 1-2 hours, starts running from the high 90's and stalls out again in the 50 minute range, sits for another couple of hours, then finishes. Please advise

Answer Hello Al. That is no error code, that is the cycle time. The issue you are having is a heating issue. You will need to check the wiring harness and see if it is bad. Also, make sure the thermistor is good on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. So, I ran a test! They said to press the Power Scrub Plus at the same time as the regular wash cycle, press the on switch and then the two lights would flash. From there, press each individual cycle and if the clean button illuminated, then you could correctly assume that it was the temperature sensor? So now my question? Is a thermistor the same thing as a temperature sensor and does part (AP 2802365) fit my model SHU9915UC/U11? This particular BOSCH dishwasher is 12 years old so I do not want to have a hefty service bill if this is something my husband could repair himself? But, I want to make sure that I order the correct part and I need to know if I performed the diagnostic in the correct manner? HELP?

Answer Darla, Yes, the thermistor would be the same as the thermostat. If you are having an issue with heating you will want to make sure that you check the wiring that goes from the thermistor and heating element to the control, right where it goes into the door to make sure that there are no breaks in the wires.

My Bosch SHU9905 dishwasher is stuck in the wash cycle and will not enter the rinse or drain mode. The only way to stop it is to turn off the power switch. The heater and circulation pump appear to be working properly.

Answer Hello Louis. Make sure the drain pump is working on the unit and if so, and it will not advance, make sure the heater is working. If all is good, then replace the control on the unit.

My Bosch diswasher runs for hours (about 3.75) and the water never gets hot enough so that almost everything is still dripping wet after the load is done. Every three washes, I have to totally clean the entire unit with bleach because it is moldy and slimy everywhere...from the spinning arms right down into the basket and drain. It's very unhealthy. My husband thinks it's the heater unit not getting the water hot enough. But I don't see this part to purchase. Could it be the Thermistor that's bad?

Answer Hello Stephanie, The heater for the unit will be part number 480317 and can be tested for continuity. You will also want to make sure that the heater is getting power to it from the control board.

What does error code "S2" mean ? I think it has to do with the water heater, however the water get very hot, hotter than normal. Could it be the high limit switch? Please help. Bosch will not give up the codes. Unbeliveable!!!

Answer Hi Richard. This is only a factory code that mean you need to inturrupt power for 2-3 minutes and then reset it . It should go away then. Thank You.

My ntc resistance is about 48k at room temp (72F). Service manual says it should be about 55k. Is 48k close enough? It does appear to be functioning - resistance falls with increasing temp.
