Both of the right surface burners will light, but one will not adjust. Stays on low. I was going to swap the two valves to see if the problem moves with the valve. Is that necessary? Also, when I use your Appliance Compatibility Tool, both your parts AP2832930 and AP2832929 say they are compatible with my GPS364GD. Is this true? There is a significant differences in price.
Answer Hello Randy,
It is not a good idea to remove the valve that is not giving a problem since most of these have to be purchased to obtain the proper seal. If that old seal doesn't re-seat, it will have to be replaced also. If the two burners are different BTU, (sizes), you could also cause a hazard by changing them one to the other. The two valves should be the same 00415500 unless one of the burners has the low simmer setting 00415499. Note that the 00415501 is for the griddle.
