I Have a Thermador PRG364DUS Range about 6 years old. The oven and broiler will not light. I have changed the igniter for the oven, but that did not solve the problem. I have ordered a dual gas valve as I feel that is the next step to replace. However I want to be sure that I connect the 4 wires correctly.

Thermador oven - Broiler would not light but oven would operate properly. Found broken off broiler igniter end (part that glows red hot) and changed it for new one. Broiler still would not go on (new igniter would not glow red) and oven still worked. Oven thermostat /control seems to work because wiring shows voltage changes at dual gas valve terminals when knob moved between oven on to broiler on positions. I attempted to check operation of broiler circuit by connecting wires for oven igniter to broiler igniter. Broiler still would not go on (no red glow on igniter. When putting wires back to original positions now both oven and broiler will not light. Oven igniter will not now glow red - No gas (no smell) flows. Are there 2 circuits on "DUAL" gas valve - it has 4 wires into 4 terminals, 2 from the oven and 2 from the broiler? Might one have gone bad with the broken off broiler igniter glow piece? And did I damage the oven circuit side when I connected it to the broiler side????

Oven does not come up to temperature. Oven burner starts out with normal size flame, then after a few minutes the flame gets smaller and there is a puffing sound like the gas is being restricted. Is this a bad gas valve? Part #AP28329226.
