Answer Hello Mark. In order to replace the top, you will disconnect the power and turn off gas first. Then remove the cooktop from the cabinet. Next remove all the burners and knobs from the top and them remove the top from the burner box. Install new cooktop in reverse order.

Answer Hi. Yes, this is the basic removal method after power is removed. From the top down. The igniter assy. is part # 76482-001. The spark module is part # 86527. Make notes of any wire connections for reassembly. The module has to be exactly wired so correct operations occur. If you decide to change igniter, make sure to use the shrink wrap so the connection does not short to ground (Chassis) because of the high voltage to the igniter from the module. Thank You.

Answer Hi Mike. Use gloves and see if the burner removal tool part # 101539 is tucked up under the lower toe kick taped to the inside. The toe kick is a sharp edges. If it is not there then you need to order the above part #. Thank You.
