Worn dacor oven hinges wouldn't hold door closed correctly

My Repair & Advice
The hardest part of the repair was figuring out how to remove the old hinges. Once the retaining clips are engaged (to remove the door from the oven) I found it extremely hard to disengage them. the old hinges will not come out unless the clips are released. After many strenuous attempts, I went with brute force. I used a heavy duty screw driver to bend the clips and break the rivets holding them in place. The new hinges went in place easily. The next challenge, after exhausting myself trying to apply enough pressure to disengage the clips, was engaging the clips on the new hinges. Took a couple of tries, but got it done.
I am sure a more elegant approach exists to removing the old hinges, but I got the job done!
