All 5 of my blue lights don't come on when I'm cooking. Everything else works, including the 2 simmer lights. Do I need new knobs.

I'm David B. from San Carlos who wrote the Do-It-Yourself story for these Dacor knobs and I've since learned that my story was wrong and these knobs are inferior. These knobs have a metal sleeve in them that slides over the post. When the stem of the knob breaks, it leaves the metal sleeve on the post. That's what is blocking the new knob from sliding down on the posts. You have to slid off the old metal sleeve with a pair of pliers, and it's not easy. You should replace my story with what I've described above. Secondly, two of the replacement knobs I bought are already broken in just a few months, which makes a total of 3. I believe the knobs are made from an inferior plastic that can't take the minimal stress of turning the posts. Will Dacor replace my broken knobs since they used inferior materials?

The little blue lights that light the burner control knobs on four of the five knobs have burnt out or at least are not working. Is there anyway to repair that? Thanks
